Protect our Privacy

The Welsh Government needs to answer urgent questions about whether Test and Trace data will be shared with the police. Whilst it is important to ensure people follow the rules, our health data being private is one of the oldest examples of the privacy we have. We cannot afford to let this happen without protection and a time limit - if it has to happen at all.

We, the undersigned,  call on the Welsh Government to commit to the following:

  • Ensure nobody is criminalised due to sharing of Test and Trace data
  • Ensure there is a public debate and consultation about this action
  • Ensure that if this is done, it is time limited and has clear safeguards for our privacy
